• Control is highly dependent on controlling oocyst numbers at appropriate times
• Coccidiosis remains a relevant disease in broiler operations
• Vaccinated flocks have more consistent parasite control than medicated flocks but bacterial infections reduce performance
• Drug sensitivity can be restored by using the vaccine
