Cabinet Shuffle | Chicken Farmers of Canada

On July 26, 2023, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced a change to the federal cabinet. This shuffle included changes to 30 Ministers’ portfolios: 23 changes in title and 7 new appointments to cabinet to replace the outgoing Ministers. The most important change to note is the new Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, Lawrence MacAulay. Minister MacAulay previously served in this portfolio from 2015-2019. Chicken Farmers of Canada is happy to see the Minister back in this very important role and is eager to work with the Minister on addressing challenges and areas for growth in the sector.

CFC would like to extend a sincere thanks to former Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, Marie-Claude Bibeau, and congratulate her on her new appointment as Minister of National Revenue.
