You’ve probably heard that birds drink twice as much as they eat, and it’s true! Water is the single largest oral input over the course of a birds’ life, and the vast majority of that comes from the drinker line (small amounts also come from feed and respiration). Therefore, spending time and money to ensure optimal water quality is given to the birds is always a good investment.
In this presentation from the BC Poultry Symposium webinar series, Jesse McCoy from Neogen talks about the aspects of good water quality and the three parameters that are important to pay attention to, things to consider for water treatment and waterline cleaning, how to interpret water sample results, and much more!
